About Us
The Equitable Ann Arbor Land Trust is a non-profit formed to catalyze visionary outcomes for protecting, enhancing, and connecting the riverfront, equitable housing, creative placemaking, and mixed-use sustainable development.
Founded in 2019, Equitable Ann Arbor (EA2) Land Trust is a Michigan non-profit on a mission to build and sustain enough equitable housing so that one day, all those who work in Ann Arbor can live in Ann Arbor if they choose.
Our Mission
EA2 aims to act as an intermediary and broker between public and private parties in order to serve the public interest of increasing housing affordability, sustainability, walkability, and placemaking in order to make Ann Arbor a better place to live for everyone, all the while “protecting, enhancing, and connecting” the natural beauty of Ann Arbor.
Our Vision
EA2 envisions an Ann Arbor where everyone who works here has the ability to live here. In order to achieve this, EA2 hopes to become the primary facilitator for all public-private partnerships required for future development projects. We also aspire for anyone who grew up in Ann Arbor to be able to buy a house and raise a family in Ann Arbor.
